At ElectionBuddy we deeply value the trust our customers place in us, and we believe that protecting your privacy is of utmost importance. We are committed to safeguarding the privacy and security of our customers' data. Please also see our Privacy Policy

We collect the e-mail addresses of those who communicate with us via e-mail, aggregated information on what pages consumers access or visit, and information volunteered by the consumer (such as survey information and/or site registrations). The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web pages and the quality of our service and is not shared with or sold to other organizations.

Information Gathering and Usage

When you register, we may ask for information such as your name, company name, email address, and billing address (collectively “Registration Information”) to assist in providing the services to you. Activating a vote may require credit card information, and that information is used only to immediately process the transaction, and then is removed from our servers.

You will also be asked to share information about your voters (collectively “Voter Information”) such as email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses so you can use our service for voter processes such as notification of a vote, confirming voting eligibility, and receiving vote results.

ElectionBuddy, Inc. will never share registration information or voter information with any third party.

Cookies

Analytics

We use Google Analytics (including Display Advertising and Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting) to collect non-personally identifiable information on site visitors and their use of our website and their visits to other categories of sites across the internet. Data Storage

ElectionBuddy, Inc. uses third-party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary hardware, software, networking, storage, and related technology required to run ElectionBuddy. Although ElectionBuddy, Inc. owns the code, databases, and all rights to the application, you retain all rights to your data.

Disclosure

  • ElectionBuddy, Inc. may disclose personally identifiable information under special circumstances, such as to comply with subpoenas or when your actions violate the Terms of Service

  • it may be necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding suspected or actual illegal activities, including without limitation, fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, or as otherwise permitted or required by law

Changes

ElectionBuddy, Inc. may periodically update this policy. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
