ElectionBuddy provides default instructions for voters based on the voting method and the ballot settings selected. The instructions are designed to be clear, and concise to provide the best outcomes for votes.

Adding Additional Instructions
Select the option "Edit Voter Instructions"
Enter additional voter-facing instructions in the Text Box. These will show in addition to the default instructions provided by ElectionBuddy based on the ballot settings selected.
Disabling Default Instructions
Select the option "Disable default voter instructions". This will remove the default instructions provided by ElectionBuddy based on the ballot settings selected.
When disabling the default instructions, we encourage you to test these instructions with colleagues or voters for clarity. This will ensure that voters understand your custom instructions and will complete the ballot correctly. Always Preview the Ballot to see the changes firsthand.
